The Economic Modern Family was created by Mish Schneider, who spent 14 years as a floor trader on the Commodities Exchange in New York, and is now the Chief Strategist at MarketGauge. She has appeared as a guest commentator on several financial tv shows and podcasts incl. Fox Business, Charles Schwab, the Money Show, and Yahoo Finance.

In Addition she was also a Special Ed teacher, and has many years of teaching and studying multiple intelligences & methods of learning.
Ten years ago, she decided to come up with a new way to make understanding the markets, investing and financial literacy, more accessible to people of all ages, who may find all of the technical jargon, stats and charts overwhelming.

She started by creating animated characters that represent specific sectors of the economy which can be used as lead indicators of the macro economic picture and direction. These characters began as hand drawings ( as shown in these illustrations above ) and then she eventually turned them into dolls ( as seen in the photo above ), and Mish even went so far, as to impersonate some of the characters, including wigs and outfits on some of her on screen appearances.

NOW, thanks cutting-edge AI animation technology she has been able to bring these characters to life!
This is a bold, game-changing way to understand the markets and the economy—like you’ve never seen before. Mish’s characters can now talk, laugh, and interact. They utlize power, emotion, humor, and real financial insight, in order to teach financial literacy by letting the sectors of the market speak for themselves. This is entertainment first…with education built in. There are no lectures or complicated numbers, just clear signals and engaging stories, with lessons that connect with everyone, kids, investors, pros, and everyday viewers.

Because the best way to teach money is to make people want to watch, laugh, learn, and never forget it.

This is the Economic Modern Family where Wall Street becomes human, and learning happens without you even realizing it!
