The Economic Modern Family was created by Mish Schneider, who spent 14 years as a floor trader on the Commodities Exchange in New York, and is now the Chief Strategist at MarketGauge. She appears as a guest commentator on several financial tv shows and podcasts including Fox Business, CNBC, Bloomberg, the Money Show, and Charles Schwab.
In addition, she was also a Special Education consultant, specializing in multiple intelligences & multisensory methods of learning.
In 2016, Mish created a new way to make understanding the markets, in the spirit of inclusivity. Economy.
She started by creating animated characters that represent specific sectors of the US economy which can be used as lead indicators of the macro economic picture and direction. These characters began as hand drawings ( as shown in these illustrations above ) and then eventually turned into dolls ( as seen in the photo above ), and Mish even went so far, as to impersonate some of the characters, including wigs and outfits during some of her on screen appearances.
NOW, thanks to cutting-edge AI animation technology she has been able to bring these characters to life!
